Positioning Companies for Growth, Partnership, and Exit
Before our intellectual property was acquired by a $13 billion international tooling company, we were already building the foundation for long-term success.
We traveled across the U.S. to meet with their customers and sales teams — listening, learning, and tailoring our product to meet their real-world needs. We didn’t just build features — we built alignment. We trained their sales force, helped position the product internally, and ensured our technology would integrate seamlessly into their existing systems.
At the same time, we were coordinating internationally with their engineering teams — aligning our roadmap with their supply chain and backend infrastructure to avoid future friction. All of this took place during the negotiation phase, before the deal was closed.
Why? Because we believe that if you want to be acquired — or acquire someone else — the value has to already be real.
Using Intelligence to Solve Real Problems
We’ve been working with Artificial Intelligence long before ChatGPT became a household name. With roots in machine learning and data science, AI has always been about helping people make smarter decisions — faster.
We use AI every day — rewriting content, improving grammar, troubleshooting systems, and automating repetitive processes. It’s made our team more efficient, and it’s helped us better understand our customers' needs.
We don’t believe in hype. We believe in practical solutions.
Whether you’re just beginning to explore AI or looking to refine how it's used across your operations, we’ll help you identify the right opportunities — the ones that save time, reduce waste, and unlock real value for your people.
Breaking Limits, Building Solutions
When we were tasked with building a hotel booking system for private pilots, we encountered a major roadblock. Travelport — the industry's leading platform — insisted that all clients had to process daily data updates, a task that typically took over 24 hours. Most companies simply accepted being a day or two behind. We didn’t.
Through creative engineering and a refusal to settle, we challenged the assumptions behind their process and rebuilt the system from the ground up. Our first version processed the data in 27 hours — but through aggressive optimization and rethinking workflows, we reduced it to under 3 hours, achieving near real-time updates.
The success didn't just impact our client. It led to direct collaboration with Travelport’s own engineers, helping them strengthen and optimize their internal systems to better support clients across the industry.
We didn’t just build faster software. We set a new standard for what’s possible when you stop accepting limits and start solving them.
Building Success Through Relationships and Results
In 2021, one of our co-founders stepped into a Regional Sales Management role for a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) installation company. Leveraging extensive industry expertise and a strong commitment to client satisfaction, he prioritized solving customer challenges, managing expectations effectively, and overseeing each project carefully from initiation to final completion.
This personalized, detail-oriented approach led to significant success, resulting in approximately $44.65 million in project sales since 2021. Each completed project highlighted not only financial achievement but also the strength and quality of client relationships developed along the way. Many of these clients evolved into trusted partners and friends, underscoring the importance we place on genuine relationships and consistent delivery of exceptional results.
Leading Through Transformation
At I & R Partners, one of our co-founders stepped into a CTO role to transform a legacy software suite from outdated C++ and Embedded C++ technology to a modern, scalable solution using C# and .NET. This strategic upgrade positioned our product suite for future growth and aligned it with evolving industry standards.
By developing innovative hardware solutions, we captured the attention of a major tooling company, resulting in a collaborative partnership. This collaboration involved extensive international coordination with their engineering teams to ensure seamless integration across multiple tools and technologies. Direct customer engagement across North America and globally allowed us to swiftly identify and solve industry-specific challenges.
Our proactive problem-solving approach deepened our strategic relationship, ultimately leading to the acquisition of our intellectual property within just two years. Despite facing considerable personal and external challenges, including the profound loss of my business partner’s wife to breast cancer, we remained committed to our vision, demonstrating resilience and dedication that solidified a lasting and successful partnership.
Saving More Than Just Cents on the Dollar
When we first started helping local businesses with their payment processing, one thing became clear: most were overpaying. Hidden fees, confusing contracts, and unresponsive reps left them trapped.
One early client — a family-owned restaurant — was paying nearly 4% per transaction. After a full statement review, we uncovered hidden markups and switched them to a more transparent, cost-effective system. The result? Thousands saved annually — real money that went back into growing their business.
Today, we bring that same hands-on care to every project — personally handling installations, training staff, and ensuring no client is ever left guessing. Saving money is only part of it. Building reliable, human partnerships is what truly matters.
Connecting Systems. Unlocking Insight. Reducing Waste.
For Torq-Comm International, we bridged the gap between two very different cloud systems — one running in Microsoft Azure with .NET, the other a new Django-based platform built with Open Source technologies. We developed a real-time ETL service to keep both systems in sync, allowing the business to operate without disruption during the transition. This gave the company space to modernize without putting operations at risk.
In another engagement, we converted a legacy client/server application into a full web-based cloud solution. Previously, the software required onsite servers and complex networking just to function. We reimagined the system as a streamlined, browser-based solution — eliminating IT overhead, simplifying access, and unlocking historical data in new, meaningful ways.
In both cases, we didn’t just move things to the cloud. We helped our clients modernize, save costs, and make smarter use of their data.
